SVFD to Perform Ice Rescue Training
**********************************************
Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) will be performing their annual Ice Rescue Training at Newman Lake, January 22-24.
Firefighters will be having a classroom lesson followed by live victim retrieval scenarios at Newman Lake. The training site will be at the public boat launch on the east side of Newman Lake.
The classroom trainings will start at 0900 and 1300 on all three days. The scenarios will begin approximately one hour later.
