SVFD FIREFIGHTER, JACOB PARSLOE GRADUATES FROM PARAMEDIC SCHOOL
Four SVFD Firefighters just graduated from Paramedic School. Jacob is one of our recent graduates!
Jacob was born and raised right here in the Spokane Valley. He started with the SVFD in 2014 after working as a volunteer EMT with Spokane County Fire District 8 (SCFD8) where he started in 2011.
Jacob said he was drawn to Paramedic School after seeing all the interesting things paramedics get to do and interpret on scene with patients. He said paramedic school was some of the most fascinating, challenging education he ever received! This from a man who has a BA in Finance and a minor in Economics!
We are excited about Firefighters who continue to grow and develop their skills here at the SVFD. We are proud of these hardworking individuals who want to educate themselves in order to care for the community they serve more effectively and more efficiently. Paramedic services and EMS calls top the list of calls for service here at the SVFD.
We want to thank Jacob for investing in his future and the care of the community he serves.
Congratulations on graduating from Paramedic School!
