SVFD Crews Make Quick Knockdown on Mobile Home Fire
**********************************************
Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) crews responded to a mobile home fire around 3:30 this afternoon in the 17000 block of 5th Avenue. The fire was quickly upgraded to a working fire, with additional units being dispatched to the scene.
VL10 was the first unit on scene, and VE3 made entry into the structure for fire attack. The fire was quickly knocked down by crews and the mobile home and adjoining shop was quickly searched and no pets or people were found.
A total of twelve units responded to the fire, including E85 from Fire District 8. No injuries were reported.
The mobile home was vacant at the time and the cause is under investigation.
