SVFD ATTENDING SYMPOSIUM ON RESUSCITATION AND CARDIAC ARREST
WASHINGTON STATE HAS A HIGHER THAN NATIONAL AVERAGE SURVIVAL RATE
***********************************************
Spokane Valley Fire is nationally known for their PIT Crew CPR practices that yield above average cardiac arrest survival rates. Today, they are investing more time in learning additional techniques in Resuscitation and Cardiac Arrest to increase their already above national average statistics. Zoll EMS and Fire is sponsoring a Resuscitation and Cardiac Arrest Symposium for increasing survival rates, today, November 7, at the CenterPlace Event Center.
“There are multi-counties and multi-agencies coming together to put on this very necessary and important symposium,” said EMS Territory Manager for Zoll Medical, Amy Turley. “The National Average for cardiac survival is 16 percent. Washington State’s percentage for surviving cardiac arrest is 50 percent, way above the national average. Some of the speakers at today’s event boast an 86 percent average!”
The event hosts several National level speakers including:
