In partnership with local pharmacies, the Spokane Valley Police Department offers a “Drug Take Back Program.” Simply bring your old, unwanted or expired medications to the Spokane Valley Police Precinct located at 12710 E. Sprague Ave.
Accepted items include prescription pills, narcotics, over-the-counter medications, vitamins and pet medications. Leave the items in original container (you may use a black marker to cover your name – do NOT cover the name of the medication). No questions will be asked and personal information will not be collected.
Items NOT accepted include needles/syringes, thermometers, inhalers, IV bags or bloody infectious waste, personal care products, aerosol cans, EpiPens, glass or metals, hydrogen peroxide or other chemicals, any mercury or iodine products.
