The Spokane County Department of Emergency Management is the ‘go to’ resource for information about the fires burning in Spokane County. Evacuation maps, boundaries and more are posted on their website at www.gsem.us Click on “Alerts” and scroll down.
ALERT Spokane is Spokane County’s Emergency Notification System. This system is available for emergency responders to notify (by phone) specific homes and/or businesses that may be at risk during an emergency. Make sure you are in the system to receive an emergency call, especially if you use your cell phone as your home phone. Self-registry allows citizens to add phone numbers that are not included in the landline 9-1-1 database. Register today at www.alertspokane.org
