“Suspicious” Brush Fires Extinguished
Just after 4 am today, SVFD crews responded to three small brush fires on Fruit Hill Road. Two of the fires were along the road leading up to Arbor Crest Winery – both about 20’x40′ in size — and a third 1/4 acre fire was just north of the winery. All three fires were quickly extinguished by crews from SVFD and Spokane County Fire District 9. Fire investigators are calling the fires “suspicious”. Anyone with information about these fires is asked to call 928-1700.
