COMMUNITY RESPONDS TO OPPORTUNITY TO DONATE TO FIRST RESPONDERS
STARBUCKS COLLECTS 150 POUNDS OF COFFEE FOR FIRST RESPONDERS!
**********************************************
As we leave 2020 and head into 2021, Starbucks is sharing some good spirit with local First Responder Public Safety Agencies after receiving an outpouring of support from the community.
Over the past two weeks, the Starbucks store at Pines and Sprague has been selling coffee to customers to donate to first responders. The community responded beyond the expectations of Starbucks and even stepped it up.
“They started writing messages on the bags of coffee for the first responders,” said Starbucks Store Manager, Kara Martin. “I figured it would be a small donation and I would deliver the coffee, however, it ended up being a little bigger than we expected!”
The outpour was incredible. Starbucks on Pines received additional coffee from another local Starbucks store because the community donated there as well. In total, they received over 150 pounds of coffee donated!
The store manager at the Pines location wanted to take a photo with area Law Enforcement including Liberty Lake PD, Spokane Valley PD, and Spokane Valley Fire Department to post and share with their customers as a thank you.
Spokane Valley Fire, Liberty Lake PD, and Spokane Valley PD will be at Pines Starbucks to receive this great outpouring from the community.
