If approved by the voters, Spokane Valley Fire Department will be authorized to levy a maintenance and operations excess levy in the sum of $25,000,000.00 per year for four consecutive years beginning in 2023 which is approximately $1.08 per $1,000.00 of true and assessed valuation, to be collected in each succeeding year (2024 – 2027). The levy will replace the current excess levy which expires in 2023 and is in addition to the District’s regular tax levy.
